It was a difficult swim due to some challenging tides and choppy water, but over 120 swimmers made it in to Aquatic Park. Our efforts attracted some local media attention, and the following article "Only the Bold Swim in the Cold" is up on NBC Bay Area.
I got first place for the South End Rowing Club and was greeted with some Jameson and Hot cocoa. I am looking forward to an exciting year of swimming. This is the year that I will get across the English Channel!! and be part of the less than 500 woman who have made successful crossings!
